Blast off for the Moon: My Apollo 11 Adventure
Last month we celebrated the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11, America’s first manned lunar landing. When Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon, not only was it “One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind,” it was one great adventure for me because I was the youngest accredited press member covering this historic life off and the only one representing an underground hippie newspaper.
